Bali is a beach destination on the bucket list of many travel enthusiasts in India. If you have plans to visit this Indonesian hotspot alongside the many other sites in the country, including Jakarta, Komodo Park, and more, this is the right time! Indonesia has launched its e-visa on arrival (e-Voa) facility in 97 countries, including India. Those interested can apply and complete it online, paying and securing a pre-approved visa before leaving for your destination. The programme is part of the country’s plan to have 14 million tourists in 2025.
How to apply for Indonesia’s e-Voa
1) Visit the official e-visa website for Indonesia
2) Click on ‘Apply’ and fill in your personal details, upload the required documents and make payment.
3) Download your approved visa.
4) You can also get details on extending your visa on the same platform.
What to know about the e-Voa
1) It is a single-entry visa valid for 90 days for tourism, government visits, business meetings, goods purchases, and transit.

3) The fee for a standard e-Voa is 500,000 IDR (approximately INR 2,646)
4) You need a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival, a recent photograph and proof of a return journey or onward travel as documents.
5) April to October are the best months to visit the country if you are keen to enjoy pleasant weather and a less-crowded atmosphere.
